They said 'yes'

To let us be 'us'

We walked together

through the realms of time

And here we are

Still longing

Each for the other..

So many days

inbetween

that day and this

Yet here we are

Still seeking 

Each other

Where every moment,

like words ,

Are joining to 

create beauty

Great Expectations

Wave crashing on the shore

you cant expect the sands 

to long for you 

when you are gone

Nor can you wish for them

to ache for your return

Its your fate 

To keep coming back to them

They know you would return to their land

when you are due

You are a matter of your own habit

So ritualistic that they know your formula

Yet you have to keep coming back,

knowing you are not needed,

to cater to their needs

their needs are not bound to you

Wave, you dont crash here

for the land

you need to come here

as it is your destiny
